Channel Lumber Gives Airbnb’s Headquarters a New Look

Channel Lumber recently partnered with Novo Construction to complete phase two of an office build out for Airbnb’s headquarters, located in the SoMa district of San Francisco. Airbnb is an innovative website that enables users to list, find, and reserve accommodations around the world. The site has homes, aparments, and rooms listed in 34,000 cities and 191 countries. The new offices reflect Airbnb’s global presence, and the interior design is really something to write home about. Take a tour of the offices and you’ll find Channel Lumber’s lumber around nearly every corner! Here are some of the most charming lumber-clad spaces:

  • A small meeting room replicates a log cabin
  • Private camping meeting rooms have wood floors and walls.
  • A team space is constructed of two-by-fours. The walls are slated and semi-open, which allows for a somewhat private, but not secluded ambiance.

The Airbnb offices are truly the envy of all the neighbors, and bring new meaning to the term “home office.” Photo credit
